Mary, overwhelmed by her daily responsibilities and lack of help from her husband, George, decides to take a much-needed break. She leaves George in charge of their daughter, Missy, and heads to the ocean for relaxation. However, her day of peace is shattered when she receives multiple missed calls from Missy’s school, telling her Missy has gone missing.
Mary struggled to juggle household duties alone while George remained uninvolved, even during his vacation. After finally taking time for herself, Mary ignores her phone at the beach but later discovers missed calls from Missy’s school. “Missy has gone missing. She went outside during recess and didn’t come back.” Desperation sets in, and Mary rushes back to town. George, initially unaware, gets involved after receiving the school’s calls.
Mary’s fear turns into relief when George finds Missy at the park. Realizing the severity of the situation, George apologizes and promises to take on more responsibility. “I haven’t been the best father,” he admits, offering a cruise ticket to Mary as a gesture of change.
